Mass Comm students are creative, dynamic and intelligent. Coming from across the country, and sometimes even from abroad, they have gifts gab and pen. At Mass Comm, they refine these talents, in preparation for the time when they will take the reins of Philippine and international communication and mass media industries. This year, the College has nearly 1,500 students, of whom 23% are males and 77% are females. Four-fifths of them are in the undergraduate level. Of the 1,000-odd students in the undergraduate level, 29% and 19% are Broadcast Communication and Journalism majors respectively. Commuication Research and Film and AVC majors respectively account for an equal 25% of the student population in Mass Comm. Only two percent of students registered in Mass Comm are non-majors.. Of the 266 graduate students, 82% are taking their Master's degree.
