Through their researches, publications, and extension work, all the faculty members of the Communication Research Department have contributed to the development of their discipline, the communication and media profession, and to society in general. The faculty’s most notable efforts have been on health communication, communication planning, public information and governance, gender studies, development economics, information and communication technologies, religion, migration, and poverty. The faculty members have presented their studies in conferences and/or published their papers in Australia, Canada, China, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Norway, the Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam.
